Growing up, I was always fascinated by the intersection of people, ideas, and opportunities. Whether it was through traveling, immersing myself in different cultures, or working with teams across industries, I’m myself drawn to environments where I can connect the dots and help unlock potential—both in individuals and organizations. I thrive in the middle of it all!

My career has taken me through the worlds of talent management, strategy, and organizational development, giving me a front-row seat to how businesses scale and thrive. Before joining OMERS Ventures, I worked across financial services, government, and non-profits, always focused on driving meaningful impact through people.

My background in neuroscience and positive psychology has shaped how I think about what makes people and teams successful. I love applying insights from human behavior to help teams perform at their best, and that includes me! I try to continuously ‘upgrade’ my own skill set, whether that’s by learning how to code, trying out a hackathon or combing through the dozens of industry newsletters I subscribe to, so I’m evolving along with the teams I work with.

Venture capital, for me, is the ultimate convergence of what I love—bringing together brilliant minds, emerging technologies, and high-performing teams to create something extraordinary.

At OMERS Ventures, I get to focus on exactly that. Whether it’s optimizing how we work together, strengthening our internal culture, or making sure the right people and processes are in place, my role is all about driving operational excellence and creating an environment where our team and portfolio companies can perform at their best.

What drives you?

I’m driven by the belief that the right people and culture can make or break an organization. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with teams of all shapes and sizes with a variety of leaders and strategies along the way. I love the challenge of bringing structure to ambiguity and helping teams reach their full potential. Nothing excites me more than seeing people and ideas come together in a way that sparks real impact – it’s truly the most fulfilling and engaging aspect of what I do.

What should founders and teams know about you?

I believe that people are the core of every great company. The right ideas and market opportunities matter, but the teams behind them make all the difference. Transparency, authenticity, and a growth mindset are key for me—I believe in honest conversations, learning together, and pushing each other to be better.

What makes you a good partner?

There’s no amount of chaos that can throw me off my game. I thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments, and I bring that same energy into the work I do. My approach is equal parts analytical and people-driven—strong processes and strategies are critical, but the real magic happens when you bring out the best in people.

A fun fact about you

I collect postage stamps, and yes, I still send handwritten letters—because some things are just better the old-fashioned way.

What do you do when you’re not working?

Outside of work, you’ll find me traveling and exploring new cultures as much as possible. Any chance I can to get outside, dive into a good book, paint, or get to do pretty much anything generally creative is my favourite way to enjoy life.
