Founded in 2020, its mission is to demystify the responsibilities facing estate executors and help guide them through the entire process, including probate, as efficiently as possible. Backed by institutional partners in Canada and the United States, ClearEstate is committed to promoting transparency and empathy during some of life’s most difficult moments — one step at a time.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Davide Pisanu

A graduate of McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Davide has over 10 years of legal experience with Davis Polk & Wardell and Canada’s Department of Justice under his belt. He then transferred into the financial sector by working as an advisor to institutional investors and asset managers with McKinsey & Company, before taking on the role of SVP at Cirque du Soleil, where he managed the resident show division and affiliated businesses before becoming part of the ClearEstate founding team. Davide is the Chief Executive Officer of ClearEstate.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Pascal Brisset

For the last seven years, Pascal has been the SVP of Engineering at TapClicks. When he was first brought on as the first engineer, he helped build the product to maturity and grow R&D to a 150 person workforce. As a leader in product and engineering, he has played a key role in multiple acquisitions and revenue growth from $1M to $150M. Pascal’s passion for building high quality products and exceptional user experiences at both the consumer and business level is evident in his work at ClearEstate. Pascal is the Chief Technology Officer at ClearEstate.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Alex Gauthier

Alex started off studying electrical engineering, but soon found that running businesses and launching new and exciting products is where his expertise truly lay. He ended up getting a degree in entrepreneurship and started working as a product manager at various startups, including taking on the role of lead Product Manager at the VC-backed digital marketing platform Acquisio. After the passing of his parents, Alex took over the responsibility of settling their estate, thereby becoming intimately acquainted with the challenges and needs facing an estate executor. Alex is the Chief Product Officer at ClearEstate.
